OFF Program

The city OFF program running alongside MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas

Born as a natural extension of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas, OFF Program is a project that takes photography beyond the boundaries of the fair, activating a widespread network of exhibitions and events throughout the city. This initiative is designed to foster a vibrant and continuous dialogue between MIA and Milan, transforming the city into a space for visual exchange and experimentation.

OFF Program serves as a bridge between diverse exhibition spaces, promoting an open environment for reflection and debate on how we perceive and represent the world through images. This integrated circuit enriches the MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas experience and strengthens its curatorial and relational identity, generating new synergies between the event, the galleries, and the public.

2. Senato Hotel Milano SENATO BLOW(N) UP Sponsored by Kruso Art Auction House, leader in the auction house sector with 11 active departments, SENATO BLOW(N) UP, now in its second edition and curated by Claudio Composti, is a project that uses the floor of the black courtyard of Senato Hotel Milano to present a single image, printed in an 8 × 8 meter format. This becomes the starting point for a debate on the value of photographic work in relation to its size, the time of the gaze, and the depth of the visual experience. In an era of overproduction and rapid consumption of images, the act of pausing on a single photograph becomes a conscious, almost counter-current gesture.

Address: Senato Hotel Milano, via Senato 22, 20121, Milano (MI)

Tecno Showroom Mostra di Teresa Giannico per Tecno Curated by Rischa Paterlini and in collaboration with Viasaterna in Milan, the Caselli di Porta Garibaldi, built in 1834 and restored by Tecno, are today a place for research and projects where Spazio Necessario takes shape. The project by artist Teresa Giannico (Bari, 1985) presents a series of works focused on the relationship between environment and individual. The occasion offers a starting point for reflection on how physical and mental contexts influence and model the activity of thought. Featuring works recently returned from the Quadriennale in Rome, the exhibition will take place from March 10 to 25, 2026.

Opening hours: From March 19 to 22 the exhibition will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

4. Alessia Paladini Gallery Icons & Ice. Fotografie di IRENE KUNG e RICCARDO SCIBETTA Conceived for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, Icons & Ice is a photographic exhibition that intertwines two gazes and two times, putting the urban icon in dialogue with the sporting imagination, and the permanence of architecture with the fleeting nature of the event. On one hand, Irene Kung’s architectural photographs render Milan as an organism of forms and silences. Alongside this “absolute” Milan, the exhibition presents the visions of Riccardo Scibetta, where the sporting image is a memory mediated by the screen.

Opening hours: From Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM & from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Saturday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
