Sol Hill esplora le intersezioni tra arte, scienza e spiritualità, cercando un linguaggio visivo che ci connetta all'energia universale. Utilizzando sensori fotografici oscurati alla luce visibile, cattura energie che l'occhio umano non percepisce. Hill sovverte lo strumento fotografico per rivelare una texture intessuta nella rete energetica che dà forma al mondo fisico. Ogni immagine ha due soggetti: la forma riconoscibile descritta dalla luce visibile e il linguaggio energetico descritto sia dalla fisica che dai mistici. Chiama queste opere Metagraphs.

Sol Hill explores the intersections of art, science, and spirituality, seeking a visual language that connects us to universal energy. Using camera sensors blinded to visible light, he captures energy the human eye misses. Hill subverts the photographic tool to reveal a texture woven from the energetic web that shapes the physical world. Each image has two subjects: the recognizable form described by visible light, and the energy language described by both physics and mystics. He calls these works Metagraphs.

Sol Hill è nato ad Albuquerque, NM, un giorno dopo che i suoi genitori aprirono la prima galleria d'arte contemporanea a Santa Fe. Cresciuto in nove stati americani, Giamaica e Germania, ha sviluppato un'ampia prospettiva che alimenta la sua visione artistica. Dopo un'intensa crisi medica, è tornato alle arti, conseguendo un MFA al Brooks Institute. Artista a tempo pieno dal 2010, Hill costringe i sensori fotografici a registrare l'impronta energetica del nostro universo, trasformando i dati in un linguaggio visivo che esplora arte, scienza e spiritualità.

Sol Hill was born in Albuquerque, NM, one day after his parents opened the first contemporary art gallery in Santa Fe. Growing up across nine US states, Jamaica, and Germany, he developed a broad perspective that fuels his artistic vision. After an intense medical crisis, he returned to the arts, earning an MFA at Brooks Institute. A full-time artist since 2010, Hill forces camera sensors to record the energetic fingerprint of our universe, rendering data into visual language exploring art, science, and spirituality.
