Alla Fonderia Campagner di Milano, l’aria cede il posto all’intensità del fuoco. La cera si scioglie sotto l’effetto del calore intenso e lascia spazio all’alluminio che, reso liquido dall’azione del fuoco, si insinua negli interstizi. Anche qui, l’uso del metallo rimanda all’idea di un movimento vitale. Deleuze e Guattari, in Mille Piani, descrivono il metallo non come una materia inerme, ma come attiva, animata e tremolante, una materia-flusso che si compone e si trasforma in modo imprevedibile. Questa descrizione risuona con il lavoro di Léa, dove il metallo, sottoposto alle fiamme, incarna la libertà della materia e la sua capacità di adattarsi.

At the Campagner Foundry in Milan, the air gives way to the intensity of fire. The wax melts under the effect of intense heat, making room for aluminum, which, liquefied by the fire, flows into the gaps. Here too, the use of metal evokes the idea of a vital movement. Deleuze and Guattari, in A Thousand Plateaus, describe metal not as a passive substance, but as active, animated, and quivering—a flow-matter that forms and transforms unpredictably. This description resonates with Léa's work, where metal, subjected to flames, embodies the freedom of matter and its adaptability.
