Nelle opere di Federica Belli il corpo umano non abita semplicemente il paesaggio, ma vi si dissolve progressivamente fino a diventarne parte integrante. Attraverso sequenze fotografiche e immagini singole, l’artista attiva un processo di mimesi e metamorfosi in cui la figura si confonde con elementi naturali — acqua, cielo, terra — perdendo i propri confini. L’immagine non documenta una presenza, ma una fusione: l’umano si fa superficie, fronda, materia. Ne emerge una visione in cui l’identità tra corpo e natura genera un unico organismo in costante mutamento, animato da una sensualità primordiale, propria di tutte le forme naturali.

In the works of Federica Belli, the human body does not simply inhabit the landscape, but progressively dissolves into it until it becomes an integral part of it. Through photographic sequences and single images, the artist initiates a process of mimesis and metamorphosis in which the figure blends with natural elements—water, sky, earth—losing its boundaries.
