Choreography of Collapse riflette su fragilità, resilienza e trasformazione attraverso una serie di opere in cui il palloncino appare come un recipiente del respiro, sospeso tra tensione e rottura. Figure frammentate si muovono tra sfida e resa, trovando equilibrio nell’instabilità. Ali spezzate, fili e forme traslucide creano un’atmosfera di silenziosa resistenza, dove il collasso diventa movimento e la vulnerabilità si trasforma in ritmo. Le opere evocano la persistenza, suggerendo la sopravvivenza come un continuo divenire.

Choreography of Collapse reflects on fragility, resilience, and transformation through a series of works where the balloon appears as a vessel of breath—holding tension between suspension and rupture. Fragmented figures move between defiance and surrender, finding balance within instability. Broken wings, threads, and translucent forms create an atmosphere of quiet endurance, where collapse becomes motion and vulnerability turns into rhythm. The works evoke persistence, suggesting survival as a continual process of becoming.

Farzaneh Ghadyanloo

IRAN

Farzaneh Ghadyanloo (b. 1989) is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across photography, sculpture, and film. Based between London and Tehran, her practice explores memory, identity, and self-discovery through poetic narratives drawn from everyday life. She studied Film at Tehran University of Arts and completed an MA in Contemporary Art Practice at the Royal College of Art. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Shirin Gallery and Tate Modern events, and she was a finalist for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2024.
