Les Sages è un omaggio discreto alla memoria vegetale delle foreste - a questi esseri in piedi, radicati nelle profondità del tempo e la cui presenza silenziosa attraversa le epoche. Attraverso il processo dell'ossidotipo, elaborato a partire da fotografie di grande formato, l'immagine assume una forma inedita: diventa materia. L'artista, come un geologo del sensibile, opera un taglio nella densità della vita. Il vegetale sembra bloccato nella pietra, come se la linfa avesse trovato rifugio nel minerale.

Les Sages is a discreet tribute to the vegetal memory of forests — to these standing beings, rooted in the depths of time, and whose silent presence spans the ages. Through the process of the oxydotype, developed from large-format photographs, the image takes on a new form: it becomes material. The artist, like a geologist of the sensible, operates a cut in the density of the living. The vegetal seems frozen in stone, as if the sap had found refuge in the mineral.
