Ogni giorno di gennaio 2019, dopo un anno di profonda perdita, ho creato un autoritratto sulla piccola parete bianca tra il mio letto e la finestra. Ogni mattina, sceglievo un oggetto significativo e non uscivo dalla stanza finché la fotografia non era completa. In questo spazio ristretto e nella consapevolezza accresciuta del risveglio, ho esplorato la dualità degli inizi: riflessione e liberazione insieme al rinnovamento.
Col tempo, l'opera è diventata un diario visivo di oscurità e luce, dolore e speranza, aggrapparsi e lasciar andare. Ripercorre la forza del femminile e l'emergere di un sé resiliente e in evoluzione.

Each day in January 2019, after a year of profound loss, I created a self-portrait on the small white wall between my bed and window. Each morning, I selected a meaningful object and did not leave the room until the photograph was complete. Within this confined space and the heightened awareness of waking, I explored the duality of beginnings—reflection and release alongside renewal.
Over time, the work became a visual journal of darkness and light, grief and hope, holding on and letting go. It traces the strength of the feminine and the emergence of a resilient, evolving self.
